Estimate Yardage Knit Rectangles

This is hugely helpful - definitely is a sanity-maintainer. “Really?” I think. “You can knit that cardigan in just three lace-weight skeins?” And so I plug in the pattern gauge, Then my bust measurement for the width, and my height from butt to shoulder for the length. It says I need 1200 yards of yarn; the skeins have 470 yards each. Apparently I can!
